Thorough   research,   clear   and   concise   writing   and   design   that   speaks   to   its   subject-matter   offer   viewers   information in a light and entertaining format. the   yellow   colour   signifies   the   corn   once   grown   by   the   villagers,   the   burnt   red   symbolizes   their   hearths, lives   and   the   ochre   they   valued   and   the   beige   represents   the   soil   excavated   by   the   archaeologists   half   a century later some   of   the   artifacts   illustrated   represent   everyday   items   such   as   food   pots,   tools,   children’s   toys   and decoration while others signify beliefs and distant trade the   excavation   map,   depicting   the   outlines   of   long   ago   longhouses,   defensive   palisades,   hearths   and   more,     provides needed context for viewers faced with what appears today to be simply a farmer’s field
